COVID-19 is spreading across Japan. In order to support medical professionals facing various emergencies, Airborne Rescue and Relief Operations With Search (ARROWS) leased and installed an air tent at Hiroshima Kyoritsu Hospital on March 13. ARROWS has an MoU with the hospital to provide disaster assistance. The tent was installed next to the hospital entrance and will be used as a triage post to screen all incoming patients starting on March 16.
When patients suspected of having COVID-19 enter hospitals, the hospitals must take measures to control infections and protect patients and hospital staff from possible infections. As the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 increases across Japan, it is important for medical facilities to prevent the spread of infections among patients and health care workers and to maintain a functioning health care system.
◆ A-PAD Japan is accepting donations to prevent further spread of COVID-19 and save as many lives as possible. Thank you very much for your generous support.
