【Emergency Assistance for COVID-19】Donated Masks to 92 Welfare Facilities in Tosu

On March 13, Saga Prefecture's first confirmed case of COVID-19 was reported. On March 17, A-PAD Japan delivered 11,000 masks to 92 welfare facilities and day care centers in Tosu upon request from the city.

A-PAD Japan donated supplies from a stockpile that was stored in a warehouse in case of emergencies. Only 120 masks were available for each facility, however, A-PAD Japan received many thank you letters and phone calls saying that they had not been able to procure masks since January.

"Thank you for supporting a small facility like ours. Even though only staff wore masks, our supply run low starting March and we have been unable to procure more. We still don't know when we can get our hands on masks again. The supply from A-PAD Japan will help us for the time being."
"Saturday is a graduation ceremony at our day care. We asked the kids and parents to wear masks but we were unable to provide them. So thank you very much."

◆ A-PAD Japan is accepting donations to prevent further spread of COVID-19 pneumonia. Thank you very much for your generous support.
