【COVID-19】 A-PAD Japan Donates Emergency Tents to Hospital in Kagoshima

On January 12, A-PAD Japan donated two emergency tents to Yonemori Hospital in Kagoshima at their request. “The tents are used as a waiting area for our emergency room. We used to use a bus parked outside the hospital building but it was cold and the aisle was too narrow. The tents will be very useful for a while, ” said the hospital staff.

A-PAD Japan has leased trailers and tents free of charge to hospitals in the Kansai and Kyushu regions. They are mainly used as a space to conduct triage to check outpatients’ temperatures before they enter the hospital premises and to prevent in-hospital infection. A-PAD Japan also supported the transportation and installation of the tents as well as the installation of portable X-rays and air-purifiers. A-PAD Japan’s assistance has been highly valued by the hospitals that protect the health care systems in their communities.
