ARROWS Donates Alcohol Disinfectants to Small Clinics Across Japan

Now Accepting Applications

ARROWS (Airborne Rescue & Relief Operations With Search), jointly operated by A-PAD Japan, is distributing alcohol disinfectants free of charge to clinics across Japan. The disinfectants were donated by Bayer Yakuhin, Ltd. and Johnson & Johnson.

Overview

Eligibility: Clinics in Japan with 19 inpatient beds or less.

 

Selection process: First-come-first-serve basis. Application will close after receiving a sufficient number of applicants.

 

Donors:

・Bayer Yakuhin, Ltd. (HQ in Osaka)

・Johnson & Johnson (HQ in Tokyo)

 

 Items:

  1. Bayer Yakuhin’s high Ethanol concentrations (1,000ml bottle × 8 bottles/box)

or

  1. Johnson & Johnson’s disinfectant alcohol mist (470ml bottle × 8 bottles/box)

 *Applicants will receive one of the two items above.

*This product was packaged from food additive alcohol preparations (Ethanol, 78). 

*This product is not a pharmaceutical or a quasi-drug. However, it can be used as a hand sanitizer. (April 22, 2020, Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare of Japan)

Size: 470ml

Ingredients: 83.9ml/100ml Ethanol; Concentrated Glycerin, Medium chain fatty acid triglyceride; Lactic acid; 

Sodium lactate solution; Refined water.

*Quasi-drugs; Class 4 Dangerous Goods Alcohol, Ethanol; Must use attached pump
