A-PAD Japan Hosts Disaster History Seminar on March 30, 2021 (Free Admission)

A-PAD Japan is hosting a seminar on the disaster history of Saga and preparedness for future disasters on Tuesday, March 30, 2021. Emeritus professor at Saga University, Gunji Aramaki will present at the seminar.  
The seminar will highlight past disasters in Saga, how people overcame them and protected the beautiful Saga Plains, and disaster preparedness that needs to be in place. Municipal office staff will also discuss their experience during the heavy rain disasters of August 2019.

*COVID-19 Prevention: The venue will maintain 50% capacity and ventilation at all times. Face covering is required. Visitors will be asked to sanitize their hands and check their temperature upon arrival. Visitors with fever or symptoms consistent with COVID-19 will not be able to enter the venue.
*Event cancellation: The seminar may be canceled in case of wider spread of COVID-19. Registered participants will be notified about any cancellation and it will also be announced on A-PAD Japan’s website and Facebook page.
