Northern Kyushu Heavy Rain - Accepting Donations through Hometown Tax ("Furusato Nozei")

Record levels of Rainfall in Northern Kyushu - Flood Damages Across the Region

Northern Kyushu was hit by record levels of heavy rain on August 28, 2019 and is experiencing flood damages including overflowing riverbanks and flooding in city centers.

A-PAD Japan is now accepting donations through Hometown Tax ("Furusato Nozei") to assist the people affected by the disaster.

In Saga, many houses have been flooded above ground level. A-PAD Japan plans to assist the recovery efforts by sending volunteers to clean up flooded houses and providing needed equipment.
